Making In Store Pickup Times Mandatory
By default, customers may be able to choose in-store pickup without selecting a specific pickup time. Making pickup times mandatory requires them to choose a time slot before completing checkout, so you know exactly when to expect them.
What you can do here
- Require customers to pick a specific time slot for in-store pickup
- See at a glance whether pickup times are mandatory or optional
- Switch the setting on or off whenever you need to
Step by step
- Go to Dashboard > Settings > Delivery Options > Pickup Time Options.
- Find the grey button that says Pick Up Time is Not Required.
- Click the button to toggle it. It will turn green and change to Pick Up Time is Mandatory, confirming customers must now select a time slot.
Tips
- Green means mandatory, grey means optional - check the button colour to confirm the current setting at a glance
- Making pickup times mandatory helps you plan exactly when customers will arrive, rather than having pickups turn up unpredictably throughout the day
- You can click the button again anytime to switch back if your workflow changes

You can also just ask the assistant to make this change for you. Try something like:
