The FSIAB platform can generate SEO metadata for your pages automatically using AI. It draws on your existing product data, site settings, and marketing context to suggest meta titles and descriptions for each page.
Before you start
The AI generates suggestions based on what is already in your dashboard. Make sure the following are accurate and up to date before running the tool:
- Site settings, including your address, phone number, and trading hours
- Product details, including prices, descriptions, and categories
- General webpage content
Inconsistencies in your data, such as conflicting opening hours and same-day cutoff times, can reduce the quality of the suggestions.
Add marketing context for the AI
You can give the AI extra context about your business to improve its suggestions. Go to Dashboard > Marketing & SEO > SEO > SEO Topics For AI and add statements such as "Family run business for 25 years" or "Same-day flower delivery in Melbourne".
Review and apply the generated metadata
- Run the AI metadata tool from your dashboard.
- Read each suggested title and description carefully. Check that it accurately describes the page it is for.
- Edit any suggestions that do not match your page content or do not sound like you.
- Keep meta titles under 60 characters and meta descriptions under 155 characters.
- Make sure each piece of metadata includes relevant keywords that describe what the page is about.
- Save and publish your changes.
Monitor your results
Check your website traffic and search rankings regularly after updating your metadata. If rankings do not improve, revisit your titles and descriptions and refine them. Focus on pages that are not performing as expected.
Tips for better results
- Every page should have a unique meta title and description. Avoid duplicating metadata across pages.
- Write for people first. Metadata that reads naturally tends to perform better than keyword-stuffed text.
- If you restock or update a product, review that page's metadata to make sure it is still accurate.
