The Meta Data Suggestions tool lets you create generic patterns for your title and de script ion tags, then apply them across products and categories automatically.
- Go to Marketing & Seo > Seo in your dashboard.
- Open the On Site SEO Report page.
- Set up your title and de script ion patterns for products and categories.
- Apply the patterns to generate suggested metadata for each item.
- Customise individual suggestions when adding or editing a product or category.
Patterns give you a useful starting point. The generated suggestions are not final copy. Review and edit them so each page has unique metadata.
Audit Your Site with the On-Site SEO Report
The On-Site SEO Report shows every page on your website alongside its metadata status. Use it to find and fix gaps quickly.
- See which pages are missing a title or de script ion.
- Identify metadata that is too short or too long.
- Edit the meta de script ion directly in the report without reloading the page.
- Apply suggestions from the Meta Data Suggestions tool and customise them in the same view.
Tips for Better SEO
- Keep all metadata unique. Duplicate titles and de script ions hurt rankings. Use the report to spot any pages that share the same copy.
- Treat suggestions as a draft. The tool creates a solid base, but adding specific details about each product or category will improve results.
- Check the report regularly. New products and categories will appear without metadata until you add or generate it.
