Flower Store In a Box automatically generates a Google Shopping product feed for your store. This feed submits your products to Google Merchant Center so they appear in Google Shopping results.
What the feed includes
The feed exports all your active products with:
- Product name, de script ion, and price
- Product images
- Product URL
- Availability status
- Category and product type
How to submit to Google Merchant Center
- Go to Marketing and Seo > Marketing Tools > Shopping Feeds in your dashboard.
- Copy your feed URL.
- In Google Merchant Center, go to Products > Feeds and add your feed URL as a scheduled fetch.
- Set the fetch frequency to daily.
Product reviews in Google Shopping
Star ratings on individual products in Google Shopping come from a separate product reviews feed this is not the same as the standard Shopping feed. To display product star ratings in Shopping results, you need to:
- Apply to Google`s product ratings program separately (see Google`s product reviews documentation).
- Collect product reviews through the platform or a third-party review tool.
- Submit a product reviews feed to Google Merchant Center on at least a monthly basis.
This is an advanced setup. Contact support to discuss whether it is worth setting up for your store.
Feefo integration
If you use Feefo for customer reviews, Flower Store In a Box can generate a Feefo-compatible product feed. Contact support to enable this.
