Set Up Driver Access
If you`ve got someone doing your deliveries, you can give them their own driver login. Once driver access is switched on, they`ll see the Driver App option waiting for them the next time they log in no extra setup needed on their end.
What you can do here
- Create a new login for a driver who doesn`t have one yet
- Turn on driver access for any existing user
- Let a driver log in with their own details
- Give your driver access to the Driver App straight after you enable it
Step by step
- Log in to dashboard.
- Go to Settings > Manage Users.
- If the person doesn`t already have a login, click Add User and set one up for them first.
- Select the user you want to update.
- Tick the Driver checkbox.
- Make sure the Status button is set to Active.
- Click Update User.
- The user can now log in with their details, and they`ll see the Driver App option waiting for them.
Tips
- If the user doesn`t already have a login, create one for them before enabling driver access
- Double-check the Driver checkbox has saved by reopening the user`s profile
- Always confirm the Status button is set to Active, otherwise their driver access won`t work
- If your driver can`t see the Driver App option, ask them to log out and back in again
