Main Menu

Main Menu

The Main Menu controls the primary navigation on your website. This is where you manage the links customers use to browse pages, product categories, collections, and other important areas of your site. You can manage it from Dashboard > Design Dashboard > Navigation.

What you can do here

  • Add a new menu item and link it to a web page, product category, product, blog, external URL, or an auto-generated list
  • Reorder items by dragging and dropping the items
  • Set up an auto-generated dropdown for your visible occasion or flower categories
  • Set up an auto-generated dropdown from a specific Master Category

Step by step

  1. Go to Design Dashboard -> Navigation
  2. Click on Main to make sure you`re editing the main menu
  3. Click Add to create a new menu item
  4. Choose what it links to: a web page, product category, product, blog, external URL, or an auto-generated list (occasion, flower, add-on, or Master Category)
  5. Reorder items by dragging and dropping the item
  6. Publish the changes

Tips

  • Menu changes go live as soon as you save, so double check labels and order first since this is one of the most visible parts of your site
  • Use an Occasion, & Flower list when you want a broad dropdown covering all your visible categories in that group
  • Use a Master Category list when you want a focused dropdown built from just one category tree, like showing only wedding-related categories under a "Weddings" menu item
