Single Use Discount Coupons
A single-use coupon is a code that can only be redeemed once, then it stops working. This differs from a standard discount coupon, which can be used repeatedly until its limit or expiry.
What you can do here
- Create a discount code that only works one time
- Give one specific customer a one-off discount
- Compensate a customer for a delivery issue
- Set up referral rewards, where each referred customer gets their own unique code
- Generate a batch of single-use codes if you need to give many customers an individual code
Step by step
- Go to Dashboard > Marketing & Seo > Marketing Tools > Single Use Coupons.
- Click to create a new single-use coupon.
- Set the discount amount or percentage.
- Save the coupon, or generate a batch if you need multiple unique codes.
Tips
- Since each code only works once, generate a batch when you need to give many customers their own individual code.
- Single-use coupons are great for referral programs, where every customer gets a unique code to share.
- Use these for one-off situations, like making up for a delivery issue, rather than ongoing promotions.
