Manual Orders

Creating a Generic Product Order

Not every sale matches a product in your catalogue a custom bouquet, a one-off arrangement, or an add-on you don`t normally list. A generic product line lets you add a simple de script ion and price to a manual order without creating a permanent product for it.

What you can do here

  • Add a one-off item to a manual order with your own de script ion and price
  • Sell custom or bespoke arrangements without cluttering your product catalogue
  • Keep the order and its revenue reporting accurate even when nothing matches an existing product

Step by step

  1. Go to Manual Order in your dashboard.
  2. Add the customer and delivery or pickup details as normal.
  3. When adding products, choose Add Custom Product instead of picking from your catalogue.
  4. Type a short de script ion (for example, "Custom native bouquet") and enter the price.
  5. Finish the order and take payment as normal.

Tips

  • Use a clear de script ion it`s what shows up on the order, the invoice, and your run sheet, so make it something your florists will understand at a glance.
  • If you find yourself creating the same generic item often, it`s worth adding it as a proper product instead so it`s easier to report on.

Ask the assistant

The AI assistant can help you manage this directly. Try:

  • "Add a generic product called [de script ion] for $[price] to this order"
  • "Take a manual order for [customer] with a custom arrangement at $[price]"
