This setting lets customers sign up as a member right at checkout, so they`re captured into a loyalty level from their very first order instead of needing a separate signup step.
What you can do here
- Show a "Join Now" prompt or checkbox during checkout
- Automatically assign new sign-ups to a starting member level
- Encourage repeat business by rewarding members with discounts or perks tied to their level
Step by step
- Go to Dashboard > Settings > Checkout Options and find Join Now at Checkout.
- Turn it on and choose the wording shown to customers.
- Go to Customers > Member Levels to set up or confirm the level new sign-ups will land in.
- Save both settings customers can now join as a member during checkout, and are placed in that level automatically.
Tips
- Pair this with a first-order discount or welcome perk on the starting level it gives customers a reason to tick the box.
- Check your Members Joining Email so new sign-ups get a proper welcome message.
